This talk was given when Ven DaoZheng was still a lay Buddhist. She talked about the pitiful plight of the many patients she encountered when she was a doctor in a local hospital at Taiwan.

Many interesting stories were told by her in this talk. Of course, she also mentioned a lot of the Buddhist teaching, especially the relevance of the Chinese Pure Land teaching.
